Welcome Back to School

Welcome Back to school and welcome to grade 3/4! This is such an exciting time for students, parents, and teachers alike. I am looking forward to working and learning with all the wonderful students of Room 10. We're going to have an awesome year.

I'd like to thank all the families who came out for "Meet the Teacher." I enjoyed meeting you all and chatting about the upcoming school year. Please know that my door is always open. Feel free to stop by after school or contact me through email to discuss any questions you have regarding your child or our classroom.

I Love to Read!

It's "I Love to Read Month" at Athlone! We kicked things off with an assembly and reading in the gym at the beginning of the month. Since then,  we've had some fun dress-up days and "mystery readers." Guest readers have also been reading to students, and sharing their love of reading. MLA, Sharon Blady read a humorous story called "Camilla Chameleon" to students in Room 10 earlier this week. She also shared information about her favourite books and her job with students. A big "thank-you" to Sharon Blady for making time for Athlone students!
